Convene // Senior Product Designer 2021-2023
Spearheaded UX research across seven product initiatives, by fostering cross-functional collaboration, leveraging stakeholder insights, user needs, business data, competitive analysis, and design thinking workshops to gain a holistic understanding of the business, customer, product, and overall problem space.
Led a complete redesign of convene.com that refined digital brand standards, elevated product consistency with a scalable component library, and improved customer acquisition with research-based product improvements. This initiative also included building a foundation for a self-serve e-commerce platform and portal. The improved experience resulted in a 206% YOY conversion increase, a 40.6% increase in sessions, and a 31.28% increase in customer inquiries.
Implemented lean enhancements for Convene’s products, updating internal sales tools, refining the virtual event platform, and designing graphic templates for the AV team’s Main Stage production. Contributed to conceptual design work and played a key role in ‘vision’ workshops, providing strategic insights that shaped the digital product strategy.
Cultivated a strong collaborative relationship with the engineering and product management teams, leading to process enhancements and improved design handoff/delivery. This included systemizing Figma file organization, component libraries, and prototypes, facilitating clearer communication of the vision.
Scholastic // Art Director 2012-2021
Led redesigns for Scholastic Store Online and Storia’s marketing site, collaborated on the Book Clubs redesign. Spearheaded ongoing lean improvements, contributing to a 20% increase in sales for Book Clubs. Additionally, elevated the Storia app’s user experience through UX research and strategic design enhancements.
Crafted creative marketing materials spanning email, social media, microsites, and special campaigns across all channels. My contributions played a pivotal role in securing a remarkable 55% increase in entries for the annual Patterson Campaign.
NBC // Senior Designer 2005–2009
Designed a diverse array of digital solutions for NBC’s iVillage and Healthology divisions, including websites, apps, branding, illustrations, editorial content, marketing materials, and video graphics.
