In 2013, I was tasked with leading the redesign of the Scholastic Store, a curated eCommerce shop for children's books. My goal was to make it easy for the editorial and marketing teams to create and manage pages, so I developed a configurable system of "cartridges" that could be easily edited or added to create new pages. I also added segmented business verticals to the navigation, making it easy for customers to jump to different parts of the business. This was the first initiative of its kind to bridge the divisions between the different parts of Scholastic.
I also established a consistent design style for all of the store's marketing materials, including emails and campaigns, to create a strong and recognizable brand identity. Overall, my work helped to improve the customer experience and brand recognition for the Scholastic Store.
